Get to know me
Hi everyone! My name is Jenibelle and I am a passionate reader and book reviewer. I have a reading buddy AKA my pet bird stormy and I enjoy ready books mainly in the fantasy and contemporary genre. I open to trying other genres as well. I often like to drink smoothies whenever I read and occasionally eat dried apple slices.
When I am not reading, you could find me shopping at the mall or chilling on the couch. I like to watch Netflix TV shows such as Once Upon a Time when my head is not down in my book.
Fun facts about me
- Favorite food?
I LOVE poke with a passion. I swear I would eat poke for the rest of my life. For those who don’t know what poke is, poke is basically raw fish. It could be many different types of fish but my favorite is salmon. Think of it like sushi, but in a bowl.
- Favorte book?
If you’re a reader, which I’m pretty sure you all are, then you know how hard this question is to answer. I have MANY books that are titled my favorite book but I would say that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE. I became an official fan about 4 years ago and I’m still going strong.
-Favorite show?
Really hard question but my favorite show would have to be Once Upon a Time. I love how everything in that show all somehow connects. And of course I’m a BIG fan of Disney so the show fits me perfectly. Second to that show would have to be Jane the Virgin of course. I just had to mention this show because I still remember how it would brighten up my day all the time.
-What pets do I have?
I have a blue parakeet named Stormy, two turtles named pancake and waffle, and a hermit crab named An.
- How and when did I get into reading?
I got into reading in 5th grade because there was a reading competition and I wanted to read the most to get a trophy at the end of the school year. So then I started reading and reading and I realized that books were really amazing! I became such an avid reader that I started the Harry Potter book trend at my school! I would always be the go-to person for book recommendations!
-What is my favorite fast food restaurant?
I would say In N’ Out because I love the animal fries there. That’s mainly what I get. Oh and also the burgers too. I always get the double double burger.
